TUAAV held 93rd anniversary celebration of Tsinghua
university at Grand Buffet of Richmond on May 2nd, 2004.
Total 89 persons attended.
The celebration started with Tsinghua anthem. All
attendants stood up while the anthem was playing. It is
Tsinghua that links us together.
During the celebration, new members introduced
themselves. The main purpose of TUAAV is to help our
alumni to know each other.
TUAAV BOD of 2000 - 2002 made a working report and
financial report to our alumni.
In the party, we also elected TUAAV BOD members of 2004
- 2006. They all are volunteers and willing contribute
their time, energy and idea to serve our alumni and for
a strong Tsinghua community in Vancouver.
To the end of the party, TUAAV BOD of 2000 - 2002 will
stop its running. Some of the BOD members will continue
to serve for our alumni in BOD of 2004 - 2006. The
others will leave the board due to this or that reason.
Their contribution is greatly appreciated.
From now on, BOD of 2004 - 2006 will take over the
service task of working for our alumni.
After the party, TUAAV BOD of 2004 - 2006 held a meeting
to decide its structure.
We sincerely appreciate all our volunteers for their
great contribution to TUAAV!
