Tsinghua delegation headed by vice president Zheng
Yan-kang
visited Vancouver On Mar 20-21.
TUAAV has hosted a dinner to welcome them at Fortune
Dragon
seafood restaurant on Sunday evening. Tsinghua
delegation,
education counselor Xu Lin, consul Wang Zhen-ya and our
alumni
in total 29 person attended.
It so warm a dinner is that we finally have to say
good-bye at 11:20pm.
To get familiar each other, delegation member, consuls
and our alumni
all introduced themselves.
Vice president Zheng Yan-kang introduced current
development
and project of our mother university.
Our eldest alumna Ms. Yeh Hsieh-Ching described her
experience
at the time she entered Tsinghua one of first ever
female student
of Tsinghua 76 years ago.
Tsinghua delegation also visited FortiNet Technologies
(www.fortinet.com), a hi-tech company successfully
established
and operated by Tsinghua graduates.
TUAAV would explore some opportunity to have some kind
of
co-operation in Tsinghua project.
