Funding from NRC - IRAP

TUAAV will host second seminar on funding from Canadian
government - "Funding from NRC - IRAP" on Apr. 5, 2003(Sat.)
All interested alumni and your friends are welcome.
 
Time:    2:00pm - 5:00pm, Apr. 5, 2003(Saturday)
Venue: SUCCESS Training Institute
           #100 - #108 5021 Kingsway, (enter from #108)
           Burnaby, BC
    (On north of Kingsway and east of Nelson St.)

The presentation will be given by Mr. Graham Parkes, a
senior Industrial Technology Advisor (ITA) with 25 years of
experience and expertise in IRAP of NRC. The presentation
will be in English. To help our audience, Tong Xuefang(Shirley)
of 89' Foreign Language, will voluntarily be an interpreter in
case help is needed.
 
To be more efficient, the seminar will be in interactive style,
i.e. if you have question, just interrupt the speaker and raise
your question. If you feel uncomfortable to ask questions in
English, Shirley will help you with her excellent bi-linguistic
ability.
 
Since we have only 50 information kits and maximum 80 seats
available, seat reservation is required and it will be first come

In the seminar, Graham may give you an idea on:
1. What kind funding program from IRAP
2. What kind of project can be funded by IRAP
3. How to get attention and win the favor of visiting
   ITA.
4. What's the next when ITA is in favor the project
5. How large and what's the precentage of the funding
   could be.
6. What kind of items in the project can be sponsored.
7. How long the funding could be
8. What the company should do when it win the funding
   from IRAP.

Research Council(NRC) has been funding Canadian industry
for 60 years.
