Grouse Mountain Climbing and Picnic on June 16

TUAAV organized the Grouse Mountain Climbing and picnic event on June 16. There were forty-eight people, including ten kids, participated this event.

Eighteen people, including three kids (one seven years old, two six years old) chose to climb the Grouse mountain. The champion was a seven years old boy with the time of 1 hour and 25 minutes. The best climber is a 63 years old senior alumni.

Anohter thirteen people took the cable car and cheered at the top of Grouse Mountain.

About ten people trekked down in the Salmon Fish Hatchery area. Whether they catched one or two salmons is still unkown.

Since it is such a success, TUAAV will organize another mountain climbing and picnic event. The target will be Burnaby Mountain and we will join on August 24 from 4:00 pm to 8:00pm. Please mark this event on our calendar so that you won't miss it.
