The celebration of the 94th Tsinghua B-day party will be held at FLOATA seafood restaurant, 1425-4380 No.3 road, Richmond, April 30, 2005, 11:00am to 2:00am. Everybody is welcome.

There will be a charge of $20 for adults, $10 for children under 12 and free for children under 5 years old. Those who has not registered yet, please let us know before April 22 how many of you will come. You can reply to Mr. Yang liang at oceanyang88@yahoo.ca or me in order for us to nail down the final arrangement with the restaurant, so please do let us know that you will come.

Mr. Yang liang already negotiated with the restaurant and made sure we will have an enclosed area for around 100 people to sit together along with other necessary equipment.

The proposed event including:
1, We will have some alumni using slide show to recall their happy years in Tsing Hua.
2, We will gather new ideas for future events.
3, We will have a lucky draw if we get some potential sponsors.
4, Of course, the food is wonderful.

Another Hi-Tech seminar series

TUAAV will host another Hi-Tech seminar series next Tuesday (March 22nd) evening. This time the topic will be "Going Public in Canada". 

Chris Lee & Jeff Sheremeta from Lang Michener LLP (bios are attached) will give us a presentation regarding to the process for going public on the TSX-V and on the TSX - what is involved, what your options are, how long it takes. Their presentation will also address some of the factors involved in making an international financial transaction successful. The presentation was originally made at the Overseas Listings Forum in Guangzhou in January, and the powerpoint presentation is in both English and Chinese. In the Q&A session they will discuss additional issues including the new BC Business Corporations Act and the new BC Limited Liability Partnership as a business vehicle.
